Derene

The ship name for two people with the names of David and Serene. They are very secretive about their relationship and only will do things together if guaranteed absolute secrecy. Couples that identify as a Derene are typically awkward in their relationships at first and require a short period of time to get to know each other and break the ice. Derene is often used as a compliment or a term of endearment.

"OMG have you seen Derene?"
"I had no idea they were dating!"
"Well thank goodness we know now! They are so cute together!"
"KYAAAHH! I wish my relationships would be as cute and caring as Derene!"

drone metal

A slow, ambient form of metal, an off-shoot of doom metal. Music in this genre is characterized by very long songs consisting of ambient noise, few vocals, and generally a repetitive drum and bass line. Music targeted for stoners. Bands like this include Halo and SUNN (((O

Not considered real music; people hate this stuff. People feel that artists like these shouldn't be signed to labels when "real" artists still go unnoticed.

Drone Surfing

In the Game Battlefield 2142, players who choose to play the squad leader roles and with the correct unlocks can use two different drones on the battlemap.

These drones float or hover just above the squad leaders position above head height.

A feature of the game is EMP strike which effect the drones, when hit by one from either an EMP strike from the commander or EMP grenade the drone will drop to the ground.

Squad leaders are then able to stand on top the drone, which due to the programming of the game resulted in the drone wanting to constantly be above the squad leader.

This resulted in the drone lifting the squad leader an infinite height above the battlefield
or to reach tall buildings normally inaccessible.

It was normally regarded as a glitch by the general number of players and banned on most public servers

Patches Released by DiCE (Maker of the game) has vitually eliminated this but it can still be done with the use of low ledges.
