Detention

A special room in high school, where you go if you do something very severe,

1. Insubordination

2. Get caught cheating

3. Bad-mouthing a teacher

4. Get caught leaving the school grounds before school is over

5. Fighting with a fellow student or faculty.

The student who was in violation has to collect all their assignments from their assigned teachers, and they are not allowed to go to the cafeteria for their lunch break, lunch is to be eaten in the detention room.

I was put in detention for giving my study hall teacher the one finger-salute for being a smart-ass. That was the only time I was put in detention

Erection Deflection

When something or someone causes you to lose your pleasure or ruins your enjoyment. Going from happy or laughing to immediately sad or depressed.

The teacher's homework was a total erection deflection. Taylor has been a real erection deflection lately. Enos, why are you such an erection deflection? Oh man your girlfriend is cheating on you, what an erection deflection.

Deflationary Vortex

A steep general decline in prices, often caused by a reduction in the money supply or credit, that creates economic recession or depression, which in turn results in greater deflation. A vicious circle, where the problem is its own cause.

A Deflationary Vortex occured in Japan during the 1990's, brought about by decreases in price that lead to lower production, which in turn lead to lower wages and demand, which lead to further decreases in price
