A place well known for its banterific qualities, no matter who is there; this is usually due to a certain banterlicious event that has happened/will happen in that particular locale. Tends to (more colloquially) be used as a rebuttal for any sentence ending in 'cool'.

James: Man, this place is so cool.
Ozzy: That's funny, because remember that time Chris got stuck in a freezer here?
Joe: Yep, right here in the bantarctic!

Bantanamo bay

Batanamo bay it the place where people who have too much banter are locked up because they are too witty for the real world. It can also be used sarcastically when someone tells a terrible joke.

Oh man did you here that guy in our class has been sent to bantanamo bay.

The teacher replied 'oh wow your so funny, you should be locked up in batanamo bay,' when the student said a terrible joke about him.
