Tyrone makes zero effort to correct her co-workers who refer to him as white. Tyrone, is white adjacent.

A portmanteau of adjective and objectify. To use an otherwise irrelevant adjective to describe a person, usually a woman or person of color, based on appearance or traits stereotypically associated with that person's gender, race or ethnicity as in the following example, "A beautiful tomb raider and her crew hunt for treasure in the catacombs of Paris and find themselves in a hellish underworld."
