telera

A piece of Mexican bread. It looks to be about the size of an extended hand ( from the pinky, to the tip of the middle finger, to the tip of the thumb, to the base of the palm) and oval.

It can also be used to as a nickname for someone who has a large (and usually ugly) face.

1: I'm starving !
2: Let's buy some ham, beans, lettuce and teleras so we can make some great sandiches.

Having the television turned on with the sound off, and playing music (typically on a stereo). Although not required, yankee television is usually accompanied by "altered" states of mind. Yankee television is so called owing to the fact that it usually done by people from the northern United States.

Since there's nothing on TV tonight, I'm just going to watch yankee television.
