An Asshole that asks people to donate money , other things etc. to a needy , poor , disabled etc. specially challenged people but gives little to nothing to the needy & keeps a large amount or everything collected to himself/herself. In short a third-party feeding off of sympathy towards needy, poor etc.

Johnny is a catfish sympathizer, he just added that catfish to his friend list. If there weren't so many catfish sympathizers on Wireclub perhaps the catfish would become extinct!

Sympathetic

A Sympathetic person feels bad for EVERYONE. Including people who don't even deserve sympathy, like murderers on death-row. They have sympathy, and are pathetic.

Mom: (reading news paper) "Aww! that poor Richard Richard Heene !"
Son: "Mom! that freak was playing America! we were all running around, trying to keep his brat alive!"
