not up to scratch. similar to slap dash.

to complete a task in a sloppy, quick, or otherwise very poor fashion, especially of home services/trades people, but can also be a scathing criticism of the standard of work in any task.

slash restaurant

A restaurant that contains more than one chain restaurant. An example is KFC/Pizza Hut/Taco Bell. A slash restaurant gets its name from the slashes in between the restaurants' names. A good place to take a large crowd to so that everyone gets what they want without arguing.

We took the gang to the slash restaurant after Thanksgiving so everyone could get what they wanted.

When someone has no sexual preference and can not be defined by being gay or straight.
There is no parade for a slagsexual, unless you count the solo walk home on Sunday mornings.

"What she's sleeping with Annie now? I did not know she was gay."

slash-hunter

An advertising copywriter or art director who never fails to find a way to add his/her name to major awards show credits - without actually doing any of the work. Slash-hunters often score trips to international awards shows by scamming their co-workers for credit. Slash-hunters are not very popular people in advertising agencies.

"Did you hear that Tod's going to Cannes this year for that mobile app? He didn't even do anything on that job other than making a suggestion at peer review! He's such a slash-hunter, man."
