Close your legs arguments

Typically misogynistic arguments used to push the onus on the one in question to deny them rights . Used to commonly conflate responsibility with rights provided serving as a red herring .
You shouldn't appeal to close your legs arguments such as telling a man to get a vasectomy or practice abstinence if he doesnt want to pay child support as if the right to decline child support has any bearing on whether he's responsible or not .

Pinocchio's argument

Someone who does not know how to use the term strongman argument right when a straw man argument is supposed to be someone pretending to answer with facts but really not answering the question at all
Example a Pinocchio's argument is where one who is listing facts gets told by the other person that's a straw man argument even though facts were presented and a straw man argument cannot exist when there's facts presented because I true straw man argument is it's bad because it's bad with no facts given. However someone using the Pinocchio's argument is just ignoring the facts and pretending there is a straw man argument when it doesn't fit the criteria for a straw man argument. In other words the pretending and lying and misusing it just to win an argument because in their eyes it's not about whether the right or wrong it's just whether they win. Hence the Pinocchio's argument

Make an argument out of it / Mach doch Mal ein Argument draus

German catchphrase (original: Mach doch Mal ein Argument draus) used by people who are unable to come up with practical solutions to any problem whatsoever.

Translates roughly to "make an argument out of it".

Used primarily by losers if they are literally helpless to change anything about their own condition.
Sailor man: Captain, we are heading towards an iceberg, you need to turn around, so we don't crash!

Captain: Make an argument out of it.

---

Anastasia: I am leaving you for Tyrone, he's just so much better than you, he earns so much more than you, he works out regularly and let's not even get started about his performance in bed; you can't compare!

Christopher: Make an argument out of it / Mach doch Mal ein Argument draus.

Anastasia: This is why nobody likes you.

“Tall Boots” Argument

A “tall boots” argument is the use of the propaganda technique of Intentional Vagueness combined with “allusory correlation” to passively insinuate causation between a correlation without directly saying it. The employer of this annoying method of bullshittery, while never explicitly stating the idea itself, instead leads someone to believe they came to their own conclusions based on their insinuations by suggesting it to them, and not explaining further.

The term comes from the tall boots that nazi’s wore - or more specifically, pointing out that nazi’s wore tall boots TO someone wearing tall boots with the phrase “I’m not saying you’re a nazi, but…” while clearly insinuating a connection to someone wearing tall boots, and nazis. The argument is illogical, but this technique is effective because it leads people into trying to figure out what the argument *is* rather than examining the argument itself, no matter how stupid it is.

You will know when that annoying friend of yours is using this technique in two steps:
1. The start with the phrase “I’m not saying *insert subject of connection*, but…” before trailing off
2. You tell them that that’s stupid, which prompts only a shrug, rather than any extrapolation
Xavier: Oh dude, check out my new boots!
Jake: They look pretty tall.
Xavier: Hell yeah! Leather, too.
Jake: You know, nazis wore tall boots.
Xavier: Shut the hell up Jake, what kinda “tall boots” argument bullshit is that.
Everyone on twitter: Oh my god, Jake is right…what the hell is wrong with Xavier

(Now apply this example to a news outlet of your choice)

The Energy Argument Against Abortion

The Energy Argument Against Abortion is a novel, inarguable, and irrefutable argument against abortion that can be found on the END ABORTION community on X formerly known as twitter. The Energy Argument Against Abortion is as follows: Albert Einstein's mass-energy equivalence principle dictates that mass is fundamentally a form of energy. Thus, the law of conservation of energy dictates that the energy in the form of matter with mass taken in by a living system that is converted into free energy cannot be greater than the free energy utilized by the living system to carry out that CONVERSION of matter into free energy that can be utilized by the living system which mathematically means that NO NET ENERGY is added to a living system despite intake of matter with mass. Thus, as dictated by the second law of thermodynamics, the total energy of the human zygote/human fetus as a living system CANNOT increase after the moment of conception and must CONTINUALLY DECREASE since the total free energy of the human being living system progressively DECREASES as the total entropy of the human being living system progressively INCREASES since NO NET ENERGY is added to the human being living system despite intake of matter with mass into the human being living system. Thus, the human zygote/human fetus has the HIGHEST TOTAL ENERGY as a living system out of all forms of the human being including born human beings making the murderous act of abortion WRONG and IMMORAL under any circumstance!
Example: "Hey bro, I just used The Energy Argument Against Abortion in order to COMPLETELY DEBUNK every single pro-abortion apologist and it was completely FANTASTIC!"

Best Atheist Argument

Hym "I'm pretty sure the best atheist argument against the existence of God was mine. Which was (If you all don't remember which you probably don't even have to because you clearly have access to this in a way I do not) If God exists, it created an inferior race of being to have it's way with for eternity. If it's a sentient lifeform that did this deliberately, it is either culpable or directly responsible for everything that happens here. This is both the worst possible iteration of reality conceivable and something I wouldn't have ever chosen. Which means it's non-consensual. It (God) is, therefore, either evil or incompetent. I mean, seriously, I've been trying to poop for like 10 minutes now. I sat down because I- Ope, there it goes. I got it out while I was editing. But even now, my legs are numb because I've been on the toilet for so long. Hold on.................................... (Had to wipe) Alright... So, I'm literally a captive. Beyond that I'm trapped here with you. Which is not going great. And, um, yeah... "
