An ancient German family name. Not to confuse with the name 'Dammann', which was already a thing back in 14th. Century. Some people might be only called 'Tamke' and others just 'Dammann'. Either way, those called 'Dammann-Tamke' are much cooler, although the origin of the name stays unknown and many people never heard about that name.
