A term that is mostly used in UK drill which simply means "to stab someone".
Due to UK drill becoming popular with anyone who has some knowledge of the hip-hop culture the word has become quite world renowned & is now a more popular choice of speech, lyric & adlib in other parts of the world specifically Australia but to fair the word & it's specific slang meaning has existed around since the mid-late 70's mainly used by theives, thugs, gang members etc
Part of the words influence, slang collaboration & originality was basically used in the sense to "flee, escape or leave the area" (the original ebonics of "dip") now you combine both slang meanings you get a better idea if when someone get's "dipped/stabbed" typically the person(s) committing the offence will flee the scene.
