Cap is probably one of the most misused words in the modern world. The word refers to often a lid of a drink or an accessory used on one's head, yet many use it in a very strange way referring to lies.

A term used to ask for a lid full of someone’s drink. Often used for soda, or Gatorade. As long as it’s got a bottle with a cap that can have liquid poured into it, asking for cap is fair game.

Friend 1: bro this Dr. Pepper is so nice on such a hot day

Friend 1: aight bet, but just this once
