Tea

This word originates from Black and LGBTQ+ culture. It describes something as “good”, originally coming from the phrase “body tea” and meant someone was hot/attractive/sexy, but now is used to describe anything desirable or good.

Dated; this slang was more current in the 1950s-1970s.

Tea? 

A one word phrase that is used to ask acquaintances, friends, total strangers, and family (a) to drink a soothing beverage made by soaking tea leaves in water, or (b) to partake in a light midafternoon repast of tea, and finger-food, such as pastries and sandwiches.
