To resolve the issue and curb the curiosity of the growing teen, instead of having a proper talk to the young boy, the mom (Nguyễn Hồng Nhung) decided to publish all screen-shots of her son sharing half-naked photos of cosplayers with his friends onto social media, as a way to "wake up" other moms. After receiving backlash by, she went a step further by asking the child to make an apology video with her filming it, then posted it online while being proud of parenting "done right".
