when using instant messengers, this term refers to the deliberate lag or pause left in between exchanges by either party.

deliberlag is often employed by people who wish to appear more cool on messengers: leaving a gap between exchanges implies they are either too busy to put the other party at a high priority, or they are having so many conversations, it takes at least five minutes to cycle through them all.

Devine Nine

Devine Nine refers to those of Color who are well educated and social economically successful.
Adapted from the Scholastic community, Devine9 refers to the well-educated minorities with an emphasis on the Black members of our society. Devine9 is a term that recognizing those of Color who have aspired to excellence in both Scholastic aptitude and Social Economic success.

Etymology
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is an organization made up of nine historically Black sororities and fraternities, and is often referred to as the “Divine 9.”

I hope I can get into one of the Devine Nine for my education.
