carting

Carting is holding on to a shopping from a moving car and then accelerating. Once an appropriate speed is reached the shopping cart is released and it shoots off like a missile. Carting was invented in Whiting, Indiana in the late 70s.

cutting room floor

An term used to define parts of a movie or TV show that do not make it into the final product.

There are various reasons a scene might be 'cut'. Time constraints, the producers feeling it doesen't fit or simply not liking the scene for various reasons.

Sometimes releases of a movie are made with cut scenes inserted.

They had a great scene in this movie where the main character comes to terms with his past. Unfortunatly, it didn't make it past the cutting room floor.

cutting ropes

To "cut someone off" otherwise known as "cutting ropes" is to look at your life realistically and see who is a bad influence on you in general, and simply cut them off. Never make plans, never talk, etc.

Damn, Shawn and Joe are dragging me down along side of them, maybe I should be cutting ropes and turn my life around.

The act of creating the likeness, in the water of a toilet bowl, of the British Prime Minister (1940-45 and 1951-55) Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965), when expelling a brown trout. The role of his face is played by your fat arse, while your dog's egg is a stand in for the cigar protruding from his lips.
