A b.s. catchphrase used by HR folks. Coined by an author who wanted to sound smart and sell books. The phrase is currently popular among HR folks who want to sound trendy.

You should welcome positive confrontation among teammates.
I would like to positively confront all HR people who use this stupid phrase and tell them it's a bunch of shit.

Co-petitive is a new game play style that was created for use in the flagship two player computer game Platitude© created by Synergy Games©. Co-petitive game play is an ambiguous style, where its neither co-operative or competitive between the two players. The players can decide whether to help or hinder each other in the aim to complete the level.

Co-petitive game play: An example from the game is being able to toggle gravity for the other player, this would allow player 1 to turn gravity off so that player 2 can get to a button to help player 1 get to the next part of the level. However once up there player 2 could go on to win and not help player 1 at all.
