Urban Content Guidelines

Write for a large audience. When defining a word, make sure to provide enough context for other people to understand what it means and how it’s typically used. Need a little help? Look to our Word of the Day for some examples.
Be creative. Some of the best definitions on Urban Dictionary find humorous ways to poke fun at authority, or put a clever twist on current events. Some of them are just straight up weird. We’re okay with that.
Have fun. We are not a traditional dictionary. This is a place where language has a little more space to be explored and constructed freely, in the moment.
🛑
Don’t post personal information. That includes obvious things like last names and addresses, but we will also remove definitions containing first names or user handles if they can be used to identify and target specific individuals for harassment.
Don’t be an asshole. We are okay with people defining offensive words. After all, people use offensive words in the real world and a resource for understanding what those words mean can be valuable. However, we are not—and never will be—okay with people using a definition to harass, discriminate, and/or directly incite violence against others.
If you notice anything on Urban Dictionary that you believe falls outside of these guidelines, please flag it for review.

Papua New Guinea

A nation that just doesn't fit in anywhere. You can't comfortably say it's an Asian or Oceanian country. It's a VERY underrated country. Most people see it as "That country above Australia" and that it's just a smaller version of Australia or Indonesia. Both of these impressions are TOTALLY WRONG, as PNG is not even remotely similar to Indonesia OR Australia. Most people in Papua New Guinea shorten their name to PNG because the full name is annoying to write out when using it repeatedly. Papua New Guinea is not similar to Australia OR Indonesia, as the people of PNG are of Melanesian descent. They are somewhat related to Solomon Islanders, but that's about it for similarities to neighbors. PNG is also a very rural country, and it's one of the only countries (if not the only one) in the world where the majority of the population still lives a tribal lifestyle. PNG still has tribes that inhabit the jungle as they have for thousands of years. Europeans colonized Australia and the East Indies and subjugated the natives, but PNG was spared because the terrain was just too rough for it to be worth conquering. That's why the tribes still survive today. They are very proud that they are some of the only people to maintain their tribalism. That's not to say PNG is uncivilized. Yes, the tribes live in the jungle, but they are by no means ruthless savages. PNG is a very unique and underrated country. Most people still live in their native homelands, and they are very proud of this.
Papua New Guinea may just be the world's most underrated country.

Guatemalaness

Adjective - Of or relating to a person's spicy, hot, and fiery personality.

Dealing with or handling a person with Guatemalaness can prove challenging and downright messy; however, the reward is proportionate to how much they piss you off.
1. That flight attendant could not handle the Guatemalaness of the blond in first class and therefore kicked her ass off the plane after pouring the dirty martini on her head.

2. In the end I couldn't handle her Guatemalaness, but damn it was a good while it lasted.

guinea

Ginney/Guinea Italians Pronounced "gi-nee." Came from "Guinea Negro" and originally referred to any Black or any person of mixed ancestry. This dates back to the 1740's. By the 1890s it was being applied to Italians--almost certainly because they tend to have darker skin than Anglo-Saxons/Germans. By 1911 the term began being applied to Hispanics, although the reference to Italians is the most common.
Surely you did not call him a guinea. I mean really, do you even know what that means?
