glove guilt

when you're working with sensitive materials (chemistry, food prep, biohzards, etc.) and you repeatedly fuck up when putting on/using your disposable gloves so that you go through half a box in 5 minutes and you feel guilty about wasting resources
"there would always be some residue that would sublime its way through the tape and so it would get on your gloves, and then your gloves would smell like it until you replace them, and after you replace your gloves like five times, you feel a bit of glove guilt, so this is another really annoying stupid compound"

pirate's guilt

The feeling of wrongness one feels when accepting something from a vendor for free/ payment optional where the person would otherwise be perfectly fine taking it from a third party for nothing.
"Hey man I looked up that album you told me about on the bay and couldn't find it."

"Why not get it from their site? It won't cost you anything."

"It's, I dunno, the principal of the thing, y'know, it's..."

"Pirate's guilt?"

"Aye."

Pumpkin Spice Guilt

When one consumes too much pumpkin spice throughout late-August/early-September. Consequently, one feels guilt since it's not even the start of official pumpkin spice season (it is typically still warm out at this time), and said person is already tired of the pumpkin spice flavor.
On September 5, Bobby and Mike reviewed their portfolios at Starbucks. When the cashier recommended Bobby try the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Bobby felt a wave of Pumpkin Spice Guilt crush over him. Bobby replied, "No thank you, I'll get an iced tea".

Carbon guilt

The horrible guilt a generally green-minded person feels when they have no choice but to do something entirely unsustainable.
"I am so racked with carbon guilt-- my company is making me fly half way across the world for a 2 hour meeting!"

green guilt

Green guilt is when you do something that is bad for the environment and feel guilty about it.
I forgot to bring my shopping bags to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's so I am feeling green guilt.

Historical guilt-tripping

A form of guilt-tripping using history. This method is usually used by people who admire the "good ol' past".
Dad: "Romulus Augustulus was a Roman emperor when he was 12. You are the same age as him but you do nothing but play Xbox all day."
Son: "Alexander the Great was 32 years old when he died and he conquered so many lands. You are older than him yet you do nothing but waste your money on some trash."

This is an example of historical guilt-tripping.
