New York Minute

An imaginary measurement of time that indicates an extreme quickness. Lending itself to the fast-paced lifestyle associated with New York City.
When I was in the Bronx I got mugged, shot, raped, and murdered in a New York Minute. In Detroit it would take at least 2.

New York Knicks

Went from contentders, to cocksuckers, when A-Holevision bought the Knicks, and the Rangers, from Dave Checketts. Both teams would never be the same again.

Brand New Animal

BNA, or Brand New Animal, is a show made by Studio Trigger, and aired on Netflix. The show takes place mostly in Anima City, a safe haven for beastmen(also known as beastkin), which are humanoid animals(intelligent, of course), and are hated by humans. The show’s main character is named Michiru Kagemori, a human who became a beastman(a tanooki in the beginning) from an accident in a hospital. Michiru can shape-shift due to her not having a defined type of beastman species(the mitosis process in her cells causes her to stretch her arms to long distances, inflate her tail so that it cushions falling, grow wings, have heightened sense of smell, etc.). Her social worker friend, Shirou Ogami, is a beastman whose form partakes in that of a gray wolf. He wears a collar around his neck to keep his power at bay, as he is what the beastmen call the Silver Wolf, a magic being. The show was overall very good, although I would advise not to watch it if you are squeamish around blood and death.
A: Hey man, wanna watch TV?
B: Sure, how about that show Brand New Animal? It’s really good.
A: *Watches for a couple episodes* Oh my, I did not expect his chest to be impaled. Look at all of that blood.
A: Wait, he’s alive? Even though his STOMACH WALL WAS SLICED OPEN? And he’s chatting with Michiru? How?
A: Oh he’s the Silver Wolf ok
