yuppie puppie

One who is raised by yuppies. Since all yuppies themselves are different, their offspring also vary. Most, though, grew up riding in the back of a Volvo station wagon on the way to soccer practice. Some went to private schools, where as others attend public school so that their parents can condescend the morons that generally are a dime a dozen in public school. The average yuppie puppie was taught to read college textbooks in preschool but will ultimately spend a lifettime living off of mom and dad.

Conner spent his childhood reading physics textbooks on the way to soccer practice. He's now in boarding school because he got kicked out of his quaint public school for teaching the class how to make crack. Yuppie senior is having a hard time explaining her yuppie puppie to the rest of the country club.

Yuppie

Usually a metrosexual- one who shops at stores named after people ie: Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Ralph Lauren, Or Tommy Hilfiger. In addition, this person drives a nice car, most likely a BMW, and drinks large amounts of starbucks.

There is no way I am going into the AA meeting, I'll be the only yuppie there!

A yuppie in punk/hipster's clothing. The yuppie's self-awareness that his lifestyle is not considered hip persuades him to create a false image of himself so other's see him as having admirable grassroots or DIY values.

"Did you see how that Gutter Yuppie parked his car four blocks away so no one would see him get into his BMW after the punk concert?"

when designers or paint companies choose to label colors with cute and exotic names that clearly defy the actual name or nature of the color, most commonly applied to different hues of one main color.

" hey honey do you think we should paint our room tequila, key lime pie, or matte boogar".

"how about we just go with green".

just go to your local paint store and look at all the yuppie colors, you'll be amused.
