A tumblelog is a variation of a blog, that favors short-form, mixed-media posts over the longer editorial posts frequently associated with blogging. Common post formats found on tumblelogs include links, photos, quotes, dialogues, and video. Unlike blogs, this format is frequently used to share the author's creations, discoveries, or experiences without providing a commentary.
The term "tumblelog" was coined by Why the lucky stiff in a blog post on April 12th, 2005, while describing Anarchaia.

Pissing Tumbleweeds

Expression used for a male or female that has not had sexual interaction with another person in a long time. Much like in old western films, tumbleweeds are a symbol of barren and dry land. Your nether regions feel much like such a land when in this physical state. Ergo, pissing tumbleweeds.

Clumps and/or balls of hair rolling down urban neighborhood sidewalks. Most commonly found near afro-american hair-braiding shops and on breezy days.

College Tumbleweed

An empty 12, 18, 24, or 30 pack case of beer seen blowing across the parking lot/lawn it was dumped on. Often consisting of the stereotypical college beverage choice of either Keystone Light, or Natural Light beer. Common on college campuses; specifically the University of Rhode Island.

Sandy saw two college tumbleweeds in the student lot while walking to class.
