Stupervise

The act of supervising personell who a) dont't require supervison, b) are more knowlageable then the "supervisor", c) have more experiance then the "supervisor", d) are generally smarter then the "supervisor".

The junior officer that just arrived today is going to stupervise all of us on doing the job that we have done for years.

the opposite of supervisor-one who gives super advice.
a stupidvisor-gives stupid advice.
people in this position in the workplace can varying in their percentage allocations of stupidvisor vs supervisor.
this ratio can also change with their mood, over time and the presence of other stupidvisors or supervisors.

Although i have three supervisors most of the time its only one because the others are just being stupidvisors.

When he is suffering from insomnia one has to 100% allocate him to the stupidvisor category.

Civil supervisor

A special kind of a person who deals with irreplaceable (in thier own minds) operators, leading hands, engineers, projects managers and clients on the daily. Keeps everyone from life in prison sentences because of thier eccentric ideas that are the engineers/project managers only way to solving the simplest problems to get the project completed on time and normally to some diet of standard.

If that engineer makes the civil supervisor build that to the drawings he has another thing coming. That engineer/project manager is dreaming if he thinks he is going to win this argument with the civil supervisor. Did you hear that engineer tried to tell the surveyor and civil Supervisor what to do... he's in trouble now.

soupervisor

An authority-figure --- such as a parent, older sibling/relative, school aide, etc. --- whose job it is to see that you "finish your stewed vegetables like a good little boy".

I'm all for insisting that a child "eat healthy", but I totally disapprove of a soupervisor who uses preposterous scare-tactics (like saying that the youngster's arms and legs will shrivel up and disappear if he doesn't eat his vegetables, or that Lucifer Himself will suddenly appear out of a blazing ball of fire and brimstone to devour him) in an attempt to scare said frail vulnerable pint-size into finishing his food.
