Snowbarry

Snowbarry is a ship name for Barry Allen and Caitlin Snow on the CW show, The Flash.

Most of the fans started shipping these two characters from episode 1 of the show. With their undeniable chemistry on-screen, Snowbarry can be considered one of the best ships in the Arrowverse. They share a lot of similarities ranging from their love for science to parallels in personal life. No one can miss their in-sync actions and matching clothes every episode.

Snougar

Snouger combines the words 'snow' and 'cougar' to describe an elderly (60+) female with graying ('snow') hair who 'hunts' younger males with the intention of developing temporary or longer relationships. Snougars can easily be found lurking in night clubs, gyms and plastic surgery waiting rooms to reverse the effects of gravity and to polish their game. They also frequent online dating services ready to pounce on younger, less savvy, unsuspecting men. At social gatherings they stubbornly stand out from the rest of the crowd with their grey or otherwise colored bouffants and clothing that brazingly exposes body parts that perhaps might be suited to a somewhat younger specimen. Beware!

Dude, 3 o'clock, at the bar there's a snougar and she's got plans for you my friend...you only live once (wink).

The proper terminology for a tracked snow transport vehicle. Common misconceptions are names like "sled", "snowmobile", "Snowmachine" etc.

snowball effect

(adj.) descriptive of an entity or situation where something once small and relatively insignificant grows exponentially at a swift pace, engulfing everything in its path. A more dramatic progression than the classic domino effect. The basic workings of a literal snowball effect can be illustrated by taking one's average baseball-sized snowball and dropping it down the side of a snowy hill. As it descends it gathers more snow and whatever leaves, sticks, etc. are in its way. The snowball accumulates not only size, but speed.

When Mortal Combat was first released, there were numerous instances of fans going to largely populated areas, like college campuses and shopping malls, and yelling "MORTAL COMBAT!!!" at the top of their lungs. Others withing earshot who understood this cry would do the same. Depending on just how many in the know heard and participated, created an amazing, echoing snowball effect.
