normalitis

Normalitis is something that affects those who have a disability that makes living a normal life almost impossible. Having to live life that way can be very frustrating. Sometimes a person will get tired of using the things that are there to help them live more comfortably. Instead of using those things, they opted to push themselves more than they should. They'll to try to live the way most normal, healthy & able-bodied people are able to do without a problem. Unfortunately sometimes they end up worse off, at the very least, for a few days. That's what it means for a person to have a case of normalitis.

After getting a case of normalitis; for 3 days I have been trying to recover, but I'm still stuck in bed!

Brainwashed Normals

An all encompassing term used in rebuttal to a political point made accusing a group of people of being brainwashed. (eg. brainwashed liberals, brainwashed fox news watchers). Used tongue in cheek to suggest that anyone subscribing to any mainstream ethos is brainwashed, yet by using the term "normal" acknowledges the lack of sanity of any point being made in the rebuttal.

All you brainwashed normals will never acknowledge the real cause of our suffering is due to the Morlocks of Middle Earth secretly controlling all world governments. We have to dig to the core of the Earth and take them over with force and stop concerning ourselves with distractions such as poverty and global war.

Of course you don't believe fluoridation of water is the greatest communist plot of all time to destroy capitalist, your a brainwashed normal.

normalstitious

Someone who considers believing in folklore, old wives tales, or good luck but doesn't take them serious enough to put them into everyday practice.

John has been told to stay away from the Bermuda Triangle because it is believed to have mysterious disappearances. Though he enjoys hearing stories about these disappearances, John is normalstitious and doesn't take these tales seriously. Usually without hesitation, John flies over the area anyway.
