mackometer

A half-imaginary instrument formed by bending both arms inward at the elbow and placing the right over the left, then using the right arm as a meter needle (much like on a speedometer) to measure the level of "mackage" that one person (usually a guy) is doing towards another (usually a girl, hopefully).

Once the mack-o-meter reaches an approximately 20-25 degrees angle, the mack can be "called" as so desired; anything before it is in direct violation of Man Law.

This noun can be pronounced "Mack-O-Meter" (mak-oh-mete-er) or "mackometer" (mak-om-ett-er); usuage is contextual.
Big Country: *quickly assembled mackometer at full meter with arms* Uh oh, Padilla, MACKING!

Padilla: Shut up!

Todd: Oh no no no, that mack was fairly called in accordance with the Man Laws.

Padilla: Fine...

Macromancer

A Macromancer is an macroeconomist who makes short term predictions about the economy, ie GDP growth and the stock market in general (while sector specific predictions often involve some degree of industry or subject domain knowledge, hence fall outside the realm of macromancy). Note, individuals without PhDs cannot be called macromancers. They must instead be referred to as acolytes of macromancy.
Bob: Are you still all in on equities? The economist on TV last night said we are on the verge of another recession from the trade war!
Frank: Don’t mind him. He’s just a macromancer. Stay the course and keep investing!

More of than not, the patient will have gained a C+ or even B for art classes in junior high, a somewhat critical juncture of a fledgling artist. In the more pronounced cases of Macramatic Fever, the patient will weave their toes into complicated cords that eventually immobilize the body. If left alone for extended periods, sufferers of Macramatic Fever are often found expired in a highly restrained environment.
Even though Cindy got a "B" in art class when she was 14, it was not high enough to escape the clutches of Macramatic Fever upon her return from Borneo. She had woven a cocoon around herself, hoping she could emerge a butterfly. But this was not to be. The papers said she was found dead in her London flat, her feet and hands bound together in an extremely complicated knot created by own exquisite macrame skills.
