I grew up from preteen to adult in an all-girls school. while assigned to a unit (small dorm with approx. 20 single rooms about 10"x12" each) during any type of lock down or every night the doors were all locked in. Anytime during this if we had to relieve ourselves, each room had a pot/bucket with a lid aka: Jitney. some other words were all inappropriately spoken to describe it.
It never failed when I was put in lock up, I always had to use the "Jitney" at least once before the doors were unlocked again.
