What is said in response to someone giving a lengthy, unimportant description or commentary on a particular topic. This is usually said in an obnoxiously high pitched voice, particularly to sound as if you're mocking the person.

"I had a really bad day at work today, I had to deal with so many annoying students and they were misbehaving all day"

"Hoy yea?!...no one cares"

"Yea i guess you're right, no one does care."

2. Norse word meaning "high island", Hoy is one of the Orkney Islands, which is near Britain.

Whoever who said Holla, please. Hoy is way more better because hoy is MUCH MORE Filipino, rather than Holla, which is severely retarded.
