Heatwaves is a popular song by glass animals! and its so a “origin” of a ship called dnf, But heatwaves its most likley about a couple who dont address themselves AS a couple :)

When lying in bed and one let's out a smelly and juicy fart, they rid themselves of rancid air by using a blanket to fan the smell towards some other unsuspecting victim. Also known as a Missouri Wind in some places.
