Fishnet

A group of two or more individuals that coordinate an online operation to identify, capture, expose, or deter individuals using false identities to exploit or mislead other users.

These groups typically include but are not limited to the standard Trout Formation, which consists of the Fishbait, Fishhook and a Tackle.

While countless roles, or Llures, exist other common strategies include the Fishworm, the Reel, the Docktor, the Tank, and the Minnows among others. Each Fishnet has a range of configurations referred to as Casts that utilize various roles with specific responsibilities before, after or during the operation that are critical to its success, or the Sync.
