The Only Way Is Ethics

A really amazing reality show where overly fake tanned people talk about their moral codes.
Person A: omg dude, did you watch the only way is ethics last night?

Person B: oh yea I did, Amy and Kirk had an argument about abortion!

of or pertaining to bad customer service.
The ugly ass girl at the counter at Cafe West had some customer ethics issues when I asked her about changing my coffee.

meta-ethics

Meta-ethics is the branch of ethics that seeks to understand the nature of ethical properties, statements, attitudes, and judgments. Meta-ethics is one of the three branches of ethics generally studied by philosophers, the others being normative ethics and applied ethics.
There are three kinds of meta-ethics problems, or three general questions:

1) What is the meaning of moral terms or judgments? (moral semantics)
2) What is the nature of moral judgments? (moral ontology)
3) How may moral judgments be supported or defended? (moral epistemology) A question of the first type might be, "What do the words 'good', 'bad', 'right' and 'wrong' mean?" The second category includes questions of whether moral judgments are universal or relative, of one kind or many kinds, etc. Questions of the third kind ask, for example, how we can know if something is right or wrong, if at all.

5. I will work for the good in all people and make them feel worthwhile.
6. If have nothing good to say about a person, I will say nothing.
7. I will give so much time to the improvement of myself I will have no time to criticise others.
8. I will always be as enthusiastic about the successes of others as I am about my own.
9. I will maintain an attitude of open-mindness towards another person's viewpoint while still holding fast to what I know to be true and honest.
10. I will maintain respect for authority and demonstrate this respect at all times.
11. I will always remain loyal to God, my country, my family and my friends.
12. I will remain highly goal-oriented throughout my life because that positive attitude helps my family, my country and myself.
Before recieving her purple belt, the young Chun Kuk Do student had to recite three lines from Chuck Norris's Code of Ethics.

absurd ethics

A mode of ethics advocating the most irrational means of action possible to allow the inherent chaos of human action agency.
Rudy decided to skip the board meeting in order to shoot pool with a group of total strangers. His reasoning? Absurd ethics.

Facebook Ethics

Facebook Ethics is a major branch of philosophy, encompassing right conduct and good life over the electronic medium Facebook. The guiding principle of Facebook ethics is that of exercising sound judgement and morality when establishing relationships, networking, or simply keeping in touch with old friends.

Examples of breaching Facebook ethics include:
- Posting inappropriate pictures of either yourself or friends engaged in raucous behavior, binge drinking, or doing illegal drugs.
- Posting nasty comments about ex boyfriends new girlfriends at an attempt to invoke jealousy, cause pain, insult the other party
- Incessantly posting on people's walls thereby shielding other people's comments and creating a monopoly on said person's wall
- Discussing insensitive topics that could be read by other people- examples include religion, politics, and racism/sexism
- Tagging friends in pictures that are less than flattering.

Brynne breached Facebook Ethics by the posting a blasphemous statement about the existence of God on my wall. Now all my Jesus jamming friends are going to be upset. I better delete the comment
