(verb) to strategically visit a location (predominantly coffee shops, cafes, or bars) with the intention of finding a significant other or mate. This is typically done to begin conversation or gain the attention of an employee or regular customer that of the establishment.

Alex can’t come to the gym, he’s busy culking at the new coffee shop and pretending to work.

Maddy goes to Java Joint to study so Scott has been culking there.
