Named for the Pokémon fan website Bulbagarden, whose Bulbapedia wiki has become an infamous den of bizarre trivia sections.

Burratard

A self-righteous renter from Culburra Beach, Australia, who acts like they own the suburb despite not being able to afford a house themselves. Burratards are notorious for their inflated sense of entitlement, especially when it comes to dictating how holiday homeowners and tourists should use their properties in a town that has always been a holiday destination.

They’ll rant about “protecting the community” while conveniently ignoring the economic boost holidaymakers bring. Known for their loud opinions on local Facebook groups, they believe every beach towel on the sand is an affront to their imaginary fiefdom.

Holiday Homeowner: "We’re renting out our house for the summer season."
Burratard: "You’re ruining the vibe of the town! Locals like me deserve priority here."
