Skateboarding is not a crime

The expression is NOT a reference to people critical of the subculture, nor was it EVER used as an excuse for any real crimes committed by people on skateboards. It was responding to the growing numbers of towns in the 90s ban skateboarding in public, despite the number of people who rode bikes, roller blades, and, oh yeah, drove CARS just as unsafely as skaters skateboard.

Skateboarding is not a crime, so take the stick out of your ass.

Bottom Seater

A bowel movement so explosive in nature, that the force of the resulting splash coats the underside of the toilet seat with fecal matter.

I thought that once I flushed the toilet, it would be gone. But then I lifted up the toilet seat to find that I had left behind a bottom seater.

deep-seated

The correct expression for "firmly established" or "deeply ingrained."

This is often misheard and misspoken as "deep-seeded" by people who slur their words and pronounce a letter "t" as a "d."

Marcus has a deep-seated hatred for people who use poor grammar.

Satellite ears

The phenomenon or condition where a student will hone in on conversations to which students discuss without the knowledge of who is listening (because of "satellite ears"), until the person in question finds a point of interest in the conversation, and involuntarily joins in- suddenly making themselves vulnerable to the fact they were listening intently to the conversation without the students knowledge, approval, or comprehension...

(After listening to an entire conversation about Heroes)

Dude 1: Hey did you see Heroes last night?
Satellite ears: Omg yeah I did! I never knew Sylar had a sensitive side...
Dude 2: Whoa quick response man, considering we weren't even talking to you
Satellite ears: Er yeah haha (shifty eyes)
Dude 1: That guy must have satellite ears...

Skateboard Alley

A local, but hidden secret skateboard spot only known by locals of the part of Howell, NJ called "Ramtown". Consists of a Mini- Ramp with talented spray paint on it, which located in the woods. All types of kids hangout there and smoke, skate and sometimes even have sex.

I haven't been to Skateboard Alley in years!

bag skate

A hockey practice where players are forced to do repetitive skating drills until they are exhausted, or have "skated their bags off". It's often used as punishment for an underperforming team.

After losing the game, the team was bag skated. Hopefully they play better next game.
