Preventing a person to take a shot in celebration of another person.

I will take a shot for you since your bundle of joy is shotblocking you from taking one!

Shotblock

/kɒkblɒk/

a term used for an action, intentional or not, that prevents someone from taking a photo. Such behaviour is often accidental or inadvertent but it is also intentionally done for humour between friends.

"I tried to get a good photo of us all but that guy kept shotblocking us."
