Shantrell unforgettable She is loving, caring, and kind. Also she's a smart ass, goofy, and very silly. She has the most beautiful smile and eyes so blue and bright that even the stars pale in comparison. You'd be lucky to have a Shantrell in your life because then you would know what real love looks like. she loves people so deeply and would do anything for you. So if some force or greater power brings you to know a Shantrell never let her go and cherish every moment with her.

Shwasted Shaturday

The 7th day of the week. One is required to get drunk to a point where one cannot name the current day without slurring one's words. This is a weekly UVA tradition started by Dabney First Left (a.k.a. D1L; the Dabney Douchebags). A successful Shwasted Shaturday will end in blackout and waking up in a random bed with an incredibly attractive naked girl lying next to you.

Shanterous

Busby slang (adjective):

Dangerous, or to be in a risky situation that should be avoided.

Guy 1- Just sit your laptop there on the edge of that bath

Guy 2- Naw, thats fuckin' shanterous

*Guy 1, 3 and 4 all nod in agreement*

Guy 1- "Look at that cunt over there! Is he eating a brick?"

Guy 2- "aye, I heard he once Killed a man with his own face, best to stay away from him, he's a shanterous one".

Guy 1- "aye shanterous indeed"

Passing English chap- "Oh I say what a shanterous looking rougue!

Shanter

Used to express disgust at a perceived situation or person who has led to what is colloquially known as "banter death". The word is derived from the ancient Norse words "shi'eet" and "bounter", equivalent to modern day English "awful" and "chat" respectively.

In the 21st Century, the word's increased use has led to the creation of a number of variants. Chief among those that are accepted by the OED are:

- shanterrific (adjective)
- shanterful (adjective)

Amongst the more controversial recent variants of the word are:

- shantastic (adjective)
- shantabulous (adjective)

It is worth noting that the adoption of these latter two by a large number of youths has been the subject of much debate and their usage remains frowned upon in certain circles.

Said on seeing a friend attempting - and failing - to ride his small-engine moped over a straight stretch of road: "Shanter!"

"Look, Dave just fell of his moped, how absolutely shanterrific!"

Said on seeing a friend's repair bill after crashing and damaging a rented moped: "Well, this is pretty unbelievably shanterrific!"
