A person holding the job title of Field Engineer, who happens to be employed by the oilfield services company Schlumberger. Such a person will normally work offshore or on land, at times on a drilling rig.

a combined, shortened version of "see you later". the first part of the word is often dragged out to add extra effect i.e, : "schhhhhhlaters". it can also be combined with "schloser" (meaning loser) i.e.
