Your ribs start to ache and you begin to wonder if you'll be physically able to take a deep breath before resorting to more silent laughter. Friends and family may laugh at you in this state, or they may be joining in right next to you. Concerned strangers will stare at you and seriously consider finding you help, or they may just hide you from their children.
After I mentioned an inside joke, I looked over to my friend who was doubled over with silent laughter.
