Rasa

- Means taste/flavour and feel in Javanese, Indonesian, Sanskrit, Pali, and Malay.
- In Thai and Lao (pronounce the word as "rod" and "lod" respectively), it only means taste/flavour.
- This is also the old name of Russian River, Volga, where the name "Russia" originates from. It's said the river there had a fine taste, hence the name.
Rasa is a word that commonly appears on seasoning powder packages.
