psychopharmaparenting

Used by Stephen Colbert in his hit television show The Colbert Report. Refers to the increasing tendency of parents to medicate their children with pharmaceutical drugs for every little perceived behavioral abnormality their children exhibit even though many such behaviors (such as restlessness) are normal.

My friend Sarah is really into psychopharmaparenting. She has her kids on at least five different medications because she thinks that children should be able to sit perfectly still all the time.

Psychopath

It is time to note the difference between a psychopath and a psychotic.

Psychopath:

A person with an antisocial personality disorder, manifested in aggressive, perverted, criminal, or amoral behavior without empathy or remorse.

Psychopaths tend to lack normal human emotions such as guilt. They are also often highly intelligent and skilled at manipulating others.

Also, psychopaths seem to appear normal. You would probably never guess there was something wrong with them.

Note, not all psychopaths are serial killers.

Ted Bundy was a psychopath, but Richard Chase was a psychotic.

A psychopath who has a stable lifestyle and usually possess high status and influence in society. They can be anyone- CEOs, millionaires, politicians , doctors. But inspit of their high functioning they are still people without a shred of empathy or a conscience
