respiration

Essential life process where oxygen reacts with glucose from the food that you eat to provide your body with energy. The two by-products of this process are carbon dioxide, which is exhaled along with the rest of the harmless gases that entered your lungs but did not diffuse into your blood, and water.

Not to be confused with breathing, which is how the oxygen enters the body.

If you cannot breathe, oxygen cannot enter your lungs and therefore cannot diffuse into your blood. With no oxygen your cells cannot respire and will therefore die.

Respiration:

Oxygen + Glucose -> Energy + Carbon Dioxide + Water

Cellular Respiration

Cellular respiration is the set of the metabolic reactions and processes that take place in the cells of organisms to convert biochemical energy from nutrients into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), and then release waste products.

An example of cellular respiration is taking sugar(Glucose) and breaking it down to water and carbon dioxide and in the process making ATP.

Premature Perspiration

When a guy forgets to use deoderant and prematurely perspires in sweaty situations. The more concerned the guy is about the sweat, the more sweat he's going to generate. And if it happens once, it could happen again and again....

Steve: Dude I prematurely perspired watching this smokin chick lick an icecream...

Matt: Dude were you wearing deodarant?

Steve: It was bad dude, I hate premature perspiration.
