NUKED (warez)
A cracked game, game DLC, video release may be NUKED for several reasons. It may be because the group responsible for the release requested it, or there may be something actually wrong with the release. When a release is nuked, a permanent mark is placed on it, and it stops being actively promoted or distribited. Often, a “REPACK” will follow from the same group, fixing the problems, or another group may release a “PROPER”.
When a "warez" scene member’s release is nuked, managers of the topsites and other distributors obliged to warn their users of the nuking, and the reasons for it. The user responsible for the release can lose respect in the community, and may also be punished in the form of a ban or fine of “credits” within various topsites.

Nuke is the very best Counter Strike: Global Offensive map. It is very sweaty when you come across the people that solo queue nuke only. If you go down the vents you can feed someones EGO and they will starting flaming your team in chat. Once this step is done get one teammate to keep trash talking him into a long conversation so he is distracted. From here it is easy and walk up behind the player while he is typing and just knife him. (We came back from 1-6 to 16-7)

This is fun with terminology. The term is used to get a point of apocalyptic emphasis across, scare grandma, and yet do away with the long winded saying, "Put my ham and cheese sandwich in the microwave oven." A simple "Nuke this!" will do. Guaranteed is that no one will misinterpret this abbreviated sentence and turn on the oven gas burner. Of course, grandma may feel the urge to bean her grandson over the head with a metal hot plate! It seems that many a World War II "Flame Thrower' veteran may have used a similar meaning word with "grandma" during the Cuban Missile Crisis in the sixties!

Microwaving food for an extra long time to compensate for it being out of date and/or of questionable quality.

Files that appear on p2p networks that have something wrong with them. For example:
-A film can be nuked for various reasons. Individual sites will nuke for breaking their rules (such as "No Telesyncs" but if the film has something extremely wrong with it (no soundtrack for 20mins, CD2 is incorrect film/game etc) then a global nuke will occur, and people trading it across sites will lose their credits. Nuked films can still reach other sources such as p2p/usenet, but its a good idea to check why it was nuked first in case. If a group realise there is something wrong, they can request a nuke.
NUKE REASONS :: this is a list of common reasons a film can be nuked for (generally DVDRip)
** BAD A/R ** :: bad aspect ratio, ie people appear too fat/thin
** BAD IVTC ** :: bad inverse telecine. process of converting framerates was incorrect.
** INTERLACED ** :: black lines on movement as the field order is incorrect.
Any file can be nuked, though; not just films. Another example is a PC ISO where it hasn't been properly isoed or there is some other technical issue that should not appear with a fully functional copy.
Basically, a nuked release doesn't work as a regular release should.

To overly think a solution to any problem. Usually refer to and use by nuclear trained US Navy sailors.
Dude, don't nuke it. We just need directions to the store. We don't need exact GSP coordinates, altitude, and a bunch of other useless junk.

Slang for a nuclear/thermonuclear device, usually classified as an ICBM, MRBM or tactical nuclear bomb (tac-nuke). Currently, it is the most powerful weapon available to mankind, creating either the fission (breaking of) or fusion (fusing together) of atoms. Nukes can release a blast more powerful than one million tons of TNT
