Nubmar

A combination of Nub (aka noob/newb etc.) and the human+male+hunter class 'HUmar' in the game 'Phantasy Star Online'. Nubmar usually refers to a HUmar played by a person who severely lacks skill, knowledge how to play properly, dies a lot, plays at most five out of the dozens of available quests and has very generic equipment.

The HUmar class is often the first picked by beginners new to the game and to add insult to injury, there is an abundance of FF7 fanboys who name their character Sephiroth thinking they are original when in fact they are the hundredth person to do so. This has led to the name becoming iconic and players with the name will automatically be considered Nubmar.

Due to the poor image of the class caused by many poor players, some veterans and experienced players also call the class itself Nubmar.

Other variants are Noobmar/n00bmar.

"Teh Nuber Effekt" Nubificus Maximatifacus

The process by which exposure to idiots on the internet(or 'interwebz', 'intranets', or 'teh webz') slowly transforms a normal web goer, into a Noob. Those affected slowly lose the ability to type coherently, and type with any sense of grammar. Words like 'like' become 'leik' while words like 'hack' become 'Teh Haxxorz'. These 'noobs' also tend to swarm in massive groups, to internet forums, and websites, posting spam and other rediculous obsceneties. Also, the Noobs tend to over use the word 'pwn'.

So far, the only known weakness to a noob, is a female forum goer, or a 'btch' as noobs refer to them as.

The 'Nuber Effekt', makes all noobs allergic to females, which leads to the noob having a fit, and making comments such as 'U gt BF?', and 'lol buttsekz?'.

So far, there has been no discovered cure for 'Teh Nuber Effekt'. A nice swing of a ban hammer will keep them at bay for a while, but only for short periods of time.

His absurd post of "hail mah peniz, conkerer of da vag kween" showed how severly, "Teh Nuber Effekt" Nubificus Maximatifacus, had progressed.

nubasaur

a nubasaur in gaming is somebody who fakes they are a nub but are really lite instead. Often, they mask their old names to fool others into a false sense of liteness, but in the end, the nubasaur gets the last laugh when the opponent is least expecting to be owned. Nubasaurs often change their names to avoid admins switching them to auto-balance or just in general, to avoid people suspecting them of hacking since they are only sneaky for a short period of time before people whine and complain and the alleged nub is thus, no longer a nubasaur but a 1337esaurus rex instead.

Wow, I thought he was a nub but that nubasaur pwned me!!!
