The Network

A German band that released their first (and only so far) album, Money Money 2020. They're basically a 'side project' of Green Day and some of their friends. The Network wears masks, has a techno sound, but it's not the sucky techno. Only for hardcore Green Day fans or poseurs. I think they're Green Day's alternate personalities. Have fetishes with disease and art and such. Definatley not for people easily disturbed. They also made up the religion of Lushotology. Band members include Fink (Billie Joe), Van Gough (Mike Dirnt), Z, The Snoo (Tre Cool), and Captain Underpants.

Dad: Who's that?
Me: New band.
Dad: They're not too bad...

Cartoon Network

What used to be a funny TV network, but has lately been slipping. First off, the normal station has been losing very good shows like "Dexter's Lab" and "Courage the Cowardly Dog", (which can now only be found in Top 5) and replacing them with total and utter shit like "Squirrel Boy", "My Gym Partner is a Monkey", and "Camp Lazlo".
Secondly, the original "Cartoon Cartoon Friday's" we all know and love has also been replaced by a gay, fucked-up "Friday's" with Tommy and Zinga (who was replaced by Tara). This so-called "Friday's" has lately been trying to save itself by hiring popular rock bands such as Bowling For Soup and Cartel...and some not-so-popular bands such as Los Lonely Boys.
Toonami and Adult Swim are also slipping. The popular "Tenchi Muyo" series on Toonami was taken off the air a few years ago. I'm surprised they didn't take that Dragon Ball shit off instead. They also took off "Sailor Moon" and "Samurai Jack", both excellent productions. Adult Swim is adding "Robot Chicken" and overplaying reruns of "Family Guy".
I lost almost all respct for Cartoon Network once they came up with "Tickle U".

Boomerang from Cartoon Network

A channel/former block from Cartoon Network that specializes(or at least used to specialize)in showing classic cartoons from the 60s, 70s, 80s, etc. Before the 2014/2015 rebrand, the channel had different blocks, such as Boomeraction and Boomerang Theater. It also used to show WAY more obscure content, like Jabberjaw and Heathcliff. In 2014, it was announced that Boomerang was being rebranded, and later in 2014(2015 in US), the rebrand was sent out, and that rebrand started the downfall of the channel. Although the channel was in decline years before this rebrand, the rebrand itself really made the downfall more apparent. For one, most of the original programming was gone from the channel, such as Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Atom Ant, Top Cat, and many more. This rebrand also replaced the classic and iconic toy style bumpers with generic, 2010s style bumpers, which many people were not happy about. Although the decline of the channel has slowed during the years after the rebrand, the channel doesn't seem to be getting any major changes in it's schedule or its programming. Most of the time nowadays, it's Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes, with some Scooby Doo and some other cartoon in between. At 11:00PM is when they actually show classic shows from Cartoon Network and Hanna Barbera, but most people would be asleep by this time, so its kind of weird why they do this. Honestly, it isn't looking good for the channel at the moment, hopefully it gets better soon.
