The common room is located by the school kitchens and is the only house to have a common room defenseman mechanism. The current known head of house is Pomona Sprout and the Hufflepuff ghost is the Fat Friar. Hufflepuff has produced the fewest dark wizards and many of its students fought during the Second Wizarding War.
Cedric Diggory was a notable Hufflepuff who was killed at the hands of Peter Pettigrew on command of Lord Voldemort.
