Mansplain

When someone "explains" something to another person about a topic they are already familiar with/understand. This is typically done in a condescending manner under the pretense that the speaker knows more about the topic than who they are speaking to, i.e. they are subordinate.
1) Explaining the rules of poker to a poker dealer
2)Repeating a point back to someone in your own way, even if they just said the same thing
3)Telling a person that you know more about something because of blank, even though they are a professional/have a degree in the field that you do not have

Sidenote: it is okay to know a lot about a topic and make this known in conversation, but assuming that you know more than someone else, not accepting if you are wrong, not accepting that they may simply be more knowledgeable, and/or doing so in a condescending manner means that you are mansplaining.

Meta-Mansplaining

When frustrated manly men go and flood the Urban Dictionary with their definitions of the word Mansplaining, because they know it better than the feminists, actually.
Greg is so pissed off because his professor didn't want to hear him explain her area of expertise to her in his opinion, so he went meta-mansplaining in UD and invited all his friends too. (See mansplaining )

Mansplaining

When a man explains something to a woman in a patronizing tone as if the woman is too emotional and illogical to understand.
"She got all pissed at me for no reason!" cried Ira, "Accusing me of mansplaining."
Aziz shook his head. "Women! Right?"

Sansplaining

When people from San Francisco interrupt you while you're having a neutral discussion to assert their misplaced sense of entitlement and reassure you that whatever you're talking about they definitely inherently know the answer, after all, they're from San Francisco.
Tom was talking to John, a San Franciscan, about the topic of homelessness until John interrupted Tom mid sentence and began sansplaining to Tom because he feels a false sense of superiority which he carries as badge of entitlement wherever he goes.

Mansplaining

When unsolicited advice or direction is given to a woman by a man in a condescending manner. The reasons typically being, the man does not believe the woman is capable of completing the task independently and must need guidance.
"You're not doing that how I would do it so I'm going to bother you with my directions and opinions even though I am in no way a superior and you did not ask for clarification. There is no way you are capable of doing this by yourself and must be ignorant so you have to rely on my constant guidance."

"uh, I think I got it.. thanks."

Digital Mansplainer

Someone who uses the medium of their personal website, Twitter bio or Linkedin profile to tell you something you already fully understand.

For example - I might mention that I’m “hangry” (hungry + angry)—this means I haven’t eaten in a few hours.
Did you see what he wrote on his Linkedin page? He is a Digital Mansplainer.

Correct. He is a tosser.

hansplaining

Stating inaccurate facts about China. Conveniently repeating Chinese Communist Party propaganda worldview. They can be often located in their ideological bubble on Weibo (Twitter copy) or other CCP run social media pages, in rare cases you can meet them in the wild in Mass Media comment sections as well as Facebook and Twitter comments.
Their meeting and support group has its western HQ on r/Sino where they're sharing the newest fake news, CCP propaganda and secretly plotting on how to take over the world, just to miserably fail every time like Pinky and the Brain.
Any rational person: "China is running concentration camps and they're rounding up millions of Uighur's, it's coming close to a genocide"

Lin starting his hansplaining: "no ,no . is no like it, you just don't understand Chainer, is vocational camps with Chinese characteristics" and continues to hansplain how forcing Muslims to burn their holy books, drinking alcohol and eating pork is a good thing to fight alleged terror.
