GameFAQs

Crappy site filled with 15-year-old fanboys who don't know what a troll is.

The message boards are apparently for game discussion, but what they really boil down to is a small group of elitist knobs desperately trying to impress each other by posting memes in every topic.
Person: This game wasn't as good as the last one in my opinion. Here are some areas where I felt it was lacking: ... ... ..., anyone care to discuss or share ideas?
GameFag #1: I don't see the point of this other than to troll.
GameFag #2: Cool story bro.
GameFag #3: inb4coolstorybro
GameFag #3: Damn, beaten by three seconds!
GameFag #4: Don't feed the troll.

gamefaqs moderator

Gamefaqs moderators are power flaunting people who's only enjoyment is giving the B7axe to innocent users who's only crime is using their right to unlimited posts.
Gamefaqs Moderator: Hey look it's Lesbian_in_a_Box, I'll just ban him because he's so much better looking than me.

GameFaqs Moderator

Bunch of nerds who have had their heads dunked into so many toilet bowls in their lives that they lost count.

Prime targets for locker-shovings and wedgies when in grade school, high school and college.

Take out their pent up rage by having a small amount of authority to delete children's messages on an internet forum. They have spent almost their entire lives on GameFAQs and have submitted applications to become moderators for years just to have this small feeling of power.

Mostly late 20-something year olds or 30-something year olds who control the flow of information on a website designed for children. Still watch anime and live in their mom's basement.

Basically these are Toys R Us kids who never grew up. Pathetic excuses for human beings and social rejects. Failures at real life who get a catharsis through being online dictators. Follow no rules other than the ones they make up on the spot for banning you. Official Site Rules are basically just put up as a joke and are not even worth reading.

Virgins for life or have some sort of ugly ass companion who they have painfully awkward sex with once in a while.

Wastes of oxygen.
The GameFAQs moderator went and banned some guy's account because he said he wasn't a fan of some stupid anime show that he liked.

The Gamefaqs moderators are sons of bitches who have nothing better to do than fuck CJayC,and ban a 7 year old for saying lolipop. They are nerds who have no real life, but think that Gamefaqs is their life. They are corrupt pieces of shit who do not listen to anyone's plees of innocence, and who think that they are top, when they are not.
Moderator1: Hey CJayC, wanna suck my johnny?
CJayC: Why yes, my man ho, I can't wait.
Moderator2: Alert! Alert! Someone is underage by one day!
Moderator1: Quick my gay friends, lets get to the Ban Button to exterminate them.

GameFAQs Moderator

- A dumbass that thinks he is god and then suspends you for you being an individual.

- A low-life, piece of crap of a human being.
- I hate all the GameFAQs Moderators.

GameFAQs Message Boards

A message board on the internet that has been destroyed by ignorant people, who call other people ignorant trolls. They constantly tell people that they're ignorant if they state a minor opinion. Look at examples for troll vs. non-troll. The game boards are flooded with fanboys who think that their games are gods. The social boards are invaded with losers(and the other kind by same pronounciation, if you know what I mean) who have no good life and live on the social boards. The Regs and Vets are often the rulers of either a gaming board or a social board, because they aren't good enough for the higher social boards.
User1: I think that Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was better than Ocarina of Time because the story was much more deeper, and that the dungeons were more challenging, although there were only 4 main dungeons. The sidequests did make up for the limited dungeons, too.

User2: You are an ignorant troll for posting this crap. You need to DIE because you think that MM is better than OoT. OoT is THE BEST ZELDA GAME with NO FLAWS. Limited sidequests in OoT is a bunch of BS. Go back to your troll cave, troll. *Mods u lolz*

User1: hey i just played wind waker bc my friends said it was good. well, i didnt really like it that much bc the game was waay too short compared to the rest of the series. i hope that the next game will be better!

User2: There is NO such thing as a short Zelda game. You're a blind troll just bashing tWW because you think its graphics were kiddy. Admit it, you KNOW it's true that you think the graphics were kiddy! C'mon! ADMIT IT!

User1: no i actually liked the graphi--
andor3: STFU you troll.

GameFan Magazine

Greatest North American video game trade publication in recorded history.

Created by Dave Halverson, it revolutionized western gaming magazines by using thicker, richly layered, ink-heavy pages with tons of photos and oftentimes humorously hyperbolic text ("eye-flaying, mind-numbing, A+++ action!!!"). GameFan alone began the now common practice of covering import/Japanese gaming with as much fervor as domestic products, and giving RPGs and niche titles as much room as the usual banal sports and action games.

Its eventual price hike to $6, not to mention the less than monthly frequency in which its deadlines were hit and, subsequently, magazines were shipped to readers, eventually caused its downfall, but not before shaping the business for years to come.

Notable alums include Halverson, Casey Loe, Dan Jevons, and Nick "Rox" DeBarres.
GameFan magazine had Phantasy Star 4 on the cover?? Oh oh oh, that is RESPECT.
