Functional Junkie

An individual who is addicted to narcotic drugs like heroin, morphine, oxycodone (OxyContin/Percocet), hydrocodone (Vicodin), or other opioids, but can still maintain a normal and successful life.

A functional junkie is a person that can have a family, have a successful career, successful education, and maintain relationships, as long as they have their dope, because once they don't have it, then everything spirals out of control.

functional addict

An individual to spite of having a chemical dependency, is able to maintain a career, family setting, and functioning semi normally into society. Many of the times these individuals require their drugs in order to function in society.

Yes I'm strung out I fix many times a day but I live in a nice house I have a loving wife and my children never want for anything I am the most functional addict there is.

Functional Dump

All dumps are functional its just that only some are more functional than others. A truely functional dump is one of which there is no real experience because it is purley functional e.g. you are extremely busy and the your sphincter starts sending messages that a dump is imminent however you don't have the time to enjoy it so it is simply a quick sit and shit. There is no time to experience the ambience of the W.C. i.e the sights, sounds and smells. There is no time to enjoy the relief that comes from dropping the kids off

Sorry I can't stop to talk. I've just had to take functional dump 'cos I've got a shit load of stuff to do.
