ecostasis

the current trend of putting your entire life in hold due to current economic conditions, life changes, or poor financial decisions.

a condition similar to hibernation when a person is severely limited by their financial status.

when life sucks because you're broke.

ever since being laid off last month i've been in ecostasis- i haven't gone out of bought anything new.

now that i have twins i'm in ecostasis. every penny i spend goes to the family and i never do anything nice for myself.

that person has been in ecostasis ever since graduating last year. they don't work and buy everything on credit with no way to pay for it.

Ecstatic dance is a method of self soothing whose roots can be traced back to greek mythology. The idea is to lose yourself to the dance and modern interpretations of that tend to include a few rules. No shoes, no cell phone, no drugs, and no talking.
