A measure by which you define just how cool a person really is: an 11, off the chain, or un-cool: a 0 lame . You can do this when your out, just by stating a number to your best buds coolness factor 11 who get the drill. Then, the clueless person is in the darkas to wtf you are talking about...unless they think they were the univited guest at your belching contest lol... as same rating scale applies.

This show was originally based on the teenage cult classic Ferris Buelers Day Off, however the writers stepped up and earned their paychecks and made something special. Like many FOX comedies that suffer without a real audience (Family Guy, Arrested Development), PLCL died in obscurity. Coolness itself doesn’t denote supreme awesomeness. Instead it connotates a very chill relaxed attitude.

Get the Coolness mug.rather than deciding for themselves what theyre into, townies decide to "like" what their mates like and what the charts tell them to like. this is for 2 reasons: 1. theyre afraid they will lose friends, and 2. theyre afraid that if they make decisions for themselves they will be uncool.
And then there are emos, who, instead of making decisions for themselves, they try to be as different as possible from the crowd, and end up looking and being exactly the same as eachother.
the only true route coolness is to be unique and decide for yourself what you like, and have reasons for liking that and being able to accept other peoples opinions and not have arguements

Get the coolnessadoodles with pie mug.An (at the time) original, descriptive term. During the years of Ultima Online's prime, an MMORPG developed by OSI (Origin Systems Inc - though later taken over by EA), there was a player by the name of "the Sickness".
This character caused great distress to many people, so in response, the great Boba Fett/Magneto/Seifer/GM Cool Guy along with Spymaster, Ad Avis, Ice Trey and Mad Monk decided it was about time to fix his little red wagon.
Thus, The Coolness was made in a satiric attempt to poke fun at "The Sickness" and his brother "The Illness".
This was, of course, before "coolness" was even a viable word for internet or real life usage. Years down the road I hear it all of the time. It caught on very quick. While I don't think I can claim origination of the word, I can definitely say I spread it to a large portion of people on Lake Superior. Especially that wonderful, Y-Wing shaped town of Moonglow. :-)
