A person works in the engineering field who discusses and debates the best way method to perform a given task, but then consciously avoids doing the actual work themselves.

"It is quite amusing how Mark got so heated in the arguement about how to architect that widget but then the next day he avoids actually performing the very tasks that he was describing" said Frank.

Max replies, "That is because he is a Chickenhawk Engineer. He will always get in arguements about how to solve a problem, but never gets involved in the actual work of implementing the solution."

1. Any person who, in an official capacity, sends other people out routinely for dangerous activities while himself having never been exposed to the same risky behavior. This usually occurs in an authoritarian, militarized system and comes with constant propaganda in which the leader fashions himself as an ultimately benevolent crusader. The film "American History X" is an excellent, small-scale example.

2. An adult male who behaves in a sexual and often predatory manner towards adolescent males. This usage of the term is becoming archaic, in favor of "pedophile."

chickenaise

A condiment developed by experimental gastronomist Joseph Trinity, Chickenaise is a culinary breakthrough. Thought to be a biological impossibility, Dr. Trinity discovered that it is possible to infuse an emulsion of specific oils, herbs and spices with not only the albumen of Galliformes' or Anseriformes' eggs, but with the parent fowl itself. The resulting product is a creamy, rich, hearty spread with limitless food service applications. As of this writing, Chickenaise is currently pending FDA approval. In March of 2010, a poultry advocacy group, Individuals Believing in Ethical Chicken treatment (IBEC) petitioned to ban Chickenaise, citing "...the abhorrent concoction is degrading to chickens and birds of the like. To take the life of an unborn creature egg for the purpose of consumption is in itself inhumane. But to slaughter and combine it's own mother in the dish is perverse. Tasty, but perverse."

This BLT is dry and lacking a hint of bird. I wish someone would develop Chickenaise!!!

Chickenhawk

an older male who generally preys on younger, adolescent males. Chickenhawks will sometimes trade chunks of hours away, from their job, so they can seek the attention of young men, all while doing so with an adequate alibi. They are sometimes aircraft pilots so they can scour wide areas looking for new crops of innocent young men. Also, they frequently drive large SUV's in order to take potential mates to remote locations, to seek sexual favors.

William, the chickenhawk, frequently attends figure skating events, because he enjoys watching the young men gallivanting around in tights.
